Robinhood Engineering Works,
Putney Vale,
London, S.W.15.

For the attention of Major Carington.

Dear Sir,

We are running a Phantom engine fitted with 14 mm. sparking plugs. The plugs we are using at the moment are the ordinary Bentley type but we find these have a tendency to run too cool and trouble is experienced at low speed picking up and idling.

Will you kindly send us as soon as possible one dozen plugs one grade hotter running than the standard Bentley plug. We will then arrange to try these out and report to you.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
