Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your drawing CPL.154 showing the suggested installation of the 40 m.m. gun in the "Beaufighter". We are looking into the points you raise in your letter and will let you have a reply as soon as possible. Actually, the installation of this gun would have to be in a special aircraft to a special order, and, therefore, I think we shall be able to make quite extensive modifications to the structure if this is found to be necessary.
