To HFS. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards} 1129 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards}22/AP.22.1.37. S/C. CHASSIS UNIT. The above unit having just been fitted with a new I/C. top half, the old alum T.H. is now released as spare, and we should be glad therefore if you would have this thoroughly over-hauled. It has run for roughly 700 hours and as a result, all the timing mechanism bearings have become badly worn. We would suggest, therefore, that all such bearings be bushed and in addition that a new set of pins be made as spare. This would then give us a good spare T.H. without going to the expense of making a new one. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards} | ||
