To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. EY. 44586 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/T24.1.27. STEEL ARTILLERY WHEELS. Ey. has asked me to reply to your memo Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}1/M20.1.27. (1) The 20 HP. wheels were received 14.12.26. After they are received there is still a certain amount of machine work for us to do. They were ready for fitting to a car on 21.12.26. The 40/50 wheels are not yet to hand. (2) The bumping test is being used for Phantom tests which we consider more urgent. (3) & (4) We are proposing to fit these wheels to a 20 HP. car and send it to France. We shall discuss this with BJ. tomorrow. The car will be first used to take Col. and Mrs. Fell to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence. In a month's time we ought to have sufficient experience to enable 20 HP. wheels to be delivered to customers. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
