CHASSIS B.8.GA.

Re your memo VA.4/GM.20.10.37 giving details of main bearing wear and sinkage etc., we would like to know definitely which type of bearings these are, AC.2 or AC.7 ?

You say, "We fitted a set of AC.2 main bearings and liners and 6 new connecting rods complete with AC.7 big ends".

Do you mean that these were fitted when the engine was last dismantled in accordance with your memo Sr/VA.3/ET.7.6.37, or that you are going to fit them now ?

We should like a reply as soon as possible.
