Re: CHASSIS 3.AX.179 - General ARANGUREN ------------------------------------- Mileage 11310 miles We have been asked by 'Tr{Capt. F. W. Turner - Finance}' to put the above car in a 100% condition before General ARANGUREN takes it to Venezuela next month and we are now carrying out the modifications as mentioned in your Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SD16/HR.19.10.37 etc .. Upon examination of the ignitions we find that one of the pivot pins which carry one of the low tension rocker arms in 'B' side distributor is very slack. This is the second case which we have come across recently, the other one was reported in our Sr/VA2/GM.14.10.37 (chassis 3.AX.201). Will you please arrange to have sent to us by return and by Air Mail, 1 of each type of plate to which the pivot pins are rivetted, for 'A' and 'B' side distributors. We attach our order n°. 1814 to D/BP's copy of this memo. VA. | ||
