Messrs Rolls Royce, Limited,
Derby.

Dear Sirs,

Attention of Mr West.

In the course of a telephone conversation with the works of the Telegraph Condenser Co. Ltd., this afternoon, they informed me that they were making up half a dozen sample condensers in line with the blueprint you sent them.

They added however, that this print gave them no electrical data and it would of course assist them in making sure that the condenser will be most suitable for the service required if you would kindly send them full electrical data.

This should include a diagram of the circuit in which they will be used and a statement of the highest voltage to which they will be subjected. This latter point is of course extremely important.

Please also give them the microfarad capacity.

Perhaps you would be good enough to mention to Mr E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Johnson that they are also sending him particulars of a machine in line with his original request so that you will be in a position to consider both propositions. i.e. buying outside or making them yourselves.

Yours faithfully,

L a Gamblen
