X.601 EH3/AT22.5.17. To Mr. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Hancock, Rolls-Royce Tester, The Aircraft Mfg. Co., Hendon. X. 2969 Dear Sir, Thanks for your wire. I was pleased to hear that it was nothing worse. X.601 I have sent off to you t-day 2 doz. Lodge aero plugs; I should fix these on the engine. When you come to Derby as you suggest doing, will you arrange to bring with X.2607 you the two camshaft casings off the engine. I very much want to alter these camshaft casings be making a freer return XX.2975 and fit felt strips to the covers, and then to test this again X.3022 to see whether it prevents the oil leaks. We think that the D.H.4 would be an excellent chance for us to test to see whether this scheme is going to be any improvement. (Sgd) E.Hives. | ||
