25 HP. and Bentley Servo Motors.

We wish to obtain as much running experience as possible on the type of Servo that you are at present making for 5-B-IV.

Will you please therefore make the necessary parts and fit as the opportunity arises this type of Servo to the following chassis :-

Bentley
1-B-IV.
2-B-IV.
4-B-IV.
B-35-AE (Hall's Car)

25 HP.
18-G-IV.
20-G-IV.
21-G-IV.
GUB-5 (Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'s Car).

The servo that you are at present making for B-23-AE should have the altered arrangement of splines as on 5-B-IV.

The specification of the servo we require should be exactly as instructed for 5-B-IV in our memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}19/KW.21.12.34 with linings in VM.30 material and on the Bentley chassis, cams to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1631 with 45° angle, and on 25 HP. cars, the same cams with 35° angle.

The lightened parts instructed in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}1/KW.9.1.35 should not be incorporated.
