Thank you for your Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}8/R.27.6.39. and also Rmll/R.27.6.39. Under the circumstances, I think the best way would be to tell this inquiry that we cannot supply a present Bentley unless he has a Streamline body and further information as to price and delivery we will have to give him at a later date. We will then be able to delay him so that he can discuss the matter when we have B.V to offer. In the meantime, would you be good enough to return the skectch of the type of body he has in mind.

I am very glad to hear the news concerning the four-door Saloon. I must say I am agreeably surprised - it has far exceeded my expectations. I am absolutely in agreement with you that some propaganda should be done before the Show especially if we can do it with the four-door. It is a very good job of work. I am sorry I have not been able to get up to see it before leaving for the Continent but perhaps I can do so when it returns. I hope that in the near future, I shall be able to come up and have a general chat with you again.
