With reference to Bly{B. W. Bleaney - Bentley Sales}10/Sm.26.6.39., we are ourselves considering an open Paulin type of body for the B.V. to follow on the 4-door saloon, which we have now completed. Mens. Paulin will deal with the design of the body just as soon as he has completed his present commitments. Naturally, your customer would get the best job if he waited until this design was finished, and then had a replica built on a B.V. chassis. On the other hand, if you want to sell him a B.II chassis he could certainly get the results required if he had the same front as fitted to the Embiricos car and the same shape in plan view. You will appreciate that the only place we could make this car would be France, and we should not be able to put much effort into it, because the B.II chassis would be out of production before it was finished. You will be pleased to hear that the 4-door Paulin saloon, which has far more room in it than the standard Bentley, lapped Brooklands yesterday @ 107 m.p.h., which was a great surprise to us.
