RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} +202 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}7/KW.27.6.34. Rear Axle Pinion - Bentley. You are making for us a pinion to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} in which the inner race of the nose roller bearing is integral with the pinion. We should like to get this on a car as soon as possible. It has been suggested that there will be a difficulty in getting bearings correct to size. Ransome & Marles however say they could supply these with the inner diameter of the rollers to within .0001. This pinion should overcome trouble of damage to the oil thread by distortion.
