Dear Sir,

Mr. Robotham told me he would write or talk to you telling you that you might expect to hear from me.

It is in connection with fitting one of our hydraulic transmitters to Mr. Robotham's Bentley, of which, he said you would send me the necessary drawings.

Our transmitter takes the place of the fly-wheel, clutch and gear box and the driving shell of the transmitter is bolted to the crankshaft flange or an adapter piece.

To enable us to design the necessary parts we should be glad if you could supply us with a drawing of the back end of the engine and of the space available in the chassis for clutch and gear box with dimensions; also a drawing of the crankshaft flange and showing the distance of the crankshaft flange from engine face. Method of fixing flywheel housing to engine face. Method of fixing rear end of gear box to chassis. Particulars and position of starter motor. Diameter and teeth of starter ring and position of starter ring relative to crankshaft flange. Particulars of Servo drive for brakes.

If you could kindly let us have the necessary drawings, we would get out a design which we would be glad to discuss with you before putting the work in hand.

Yours faithfully

J.S.N. Moore.
Managing Director.
