Dear Geoffrey,

With reference to our conversation with regard to the use of Nitrided Steel.

The firm who are developing this steel are Aubert & Duval, Paris.

The British licensees are Firth Derihon of Sheffield.

The parts we have so far had from Firths in this material are very unsatisfactory and apparently they have not got the process right yet.

Details of the various stages in the development of this steel are to be found in the American Journal of Automotive Industries" for the last month.
