We send you herewith for your investigation a spring roller off Mr. Gibbs' Car 35.LW, which has broken whilst in Mr. Gibbs' possession. We understand from Evans that everything on the car seems to be O.K. and there is nothing to give any indication as to why this broke. The driver first noticed it as there was a squeak and looking round to ascertain the cause, found that the roller was broken. This has been replaced. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/T.
