(4) Transport Cars Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}

They will be tried weekly by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} and reports issued.

(5) Lucas Coils.

All Experimental cars will be run with the latest Lucas coils.

11.B.Y. when it has been in the shop for modification to the engine mounting and exhaust syste', will be fitted with one of these coils and a record kept to see how long it will run before it deteriorates. We understand it has already been fitted up with the latest setting of the thermostatically operated choke.

(6) Duplex Carburetters.

Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} reported that he was having trouble with dirt in the Duplex carburetters.

This trouble was experienced previously on the 25/30 H.P. carburetter and a filter was fitted.

Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} should rig up a small filter on this carb. and see if it kills the trouble.

In the meantime Jnr.{Charles L. Jenner} is designing a small filter.

(7) Carburetter Controls.

Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} reported that there were no proper controls for the Duplex carburetter on the Cast Iron engine.

Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} took the matter up with Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} who said that there was a design in existance for the Duplex Stromberg but it has not been detailed. Will Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} get hold of this design and rig up his controls accordingly.

Will Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} get the controls detailed.

scheme

Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} took up the question of having controls for the 2 S.U. on the cast iron engine, and Wv. said no such a scheme was in existance. A scheme would be designed at the same time the automatic thermostatic choke would be incorporated.

(8) Automatic Choke Control on S.U.'s.

Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} said he had not tried lifting one of the pistons on the scheme he was running.
