Re Failure of P&R S2 Battery. (155).
No 1 cell (P&R) has failed in this battery after having run 13,377 miles & has been on our bench life test 22 months.
This cell was replaced by a P&R from S4 Battery which was originally in SY.
On opening up this cell failure was found to be due to stretching of the positive plates causing them to short on the negative bus bar.
Signed: A.J.
This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work.
