Dear Mr. Worth,

Thank you for your letter of 4th December. I note what you say about the inner tubes.

We have not yet settled anything with regard to the 6 x 17" tyres. There is still a considerable difference of opinion with regard to their road holding qualities. The fact that they are so sensitive to tyre pressures is a questionable attribute. We have tried some Dunlop tyres out of the same size, and the road holding appears to be better. We are confirming this; if, on further investigation, the Dunlop tyres maintain their superiority we will let you know, and then we can discuss the matter.
