26.O.VI. 25/30 - 15,000 miles test car.

It was found on returning to Derby after your test of this car that the lack of damping in the 'hard' position was due to a crack in the coiled copper pipe from the damper governor unit, resulting in a gradual loss of oil and maximum pressure.

The trouble has developed gradually since the car returned to England. With the fault rectified the damping is restored to normal and appears sufficient.

We are standardising a flexible pipe in place of the coiled copper pipe for production as on the 25/30.
