Dear Sirs,
Re. PHANTOM III BUMPER BARS.

We were pleased to find that the new 3 1/2" deep front bumper which you have sent us for test purposes is about 4 lbs. lighter than the bumper that is standard now.

We still think, however, that this part might be satisfactory in a lighter gauge material. We should be glad therefore if you would make up for us a front and rear bumper both 3 1/2" deep and neither to weigh more than 10 lbs. less than the present standard bars to F.88285 and leC.4745. We realise that this may be lighter than your present practice but we should like an opportunity of testing them for ourselves.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
