Dear Sirs,
Replying to your letter of the 4th inst., regarding trouble you have experienced on the first three or four experimental sets of H4 Carburetters, where apparently the rivetted over brass piston key has become loose, since about four months ago, i.e. after these few experimental sets were delivered, we have altered the type of rivetting employed in this brass key. The latest type of rivetting is as the pair delivered from here on the 4th inst.
Whilst the rivetting used six months ago was undoubtedly not too good we do not think for a moment that you will have any cause to complain of the revised method.
Yours faithfully,
for THE S.U.CARBURETTER CO.LTD.
B. Cooper
