on a car which has a tendency to wobble when dropped into a pot hole.

Chassis 2004 Marine Engine. X.448

This chassis is being tested and prepared for despatch. The new extra oil device which drops the oil on to the cranks and big ends is fitted. It seems to be fairly satisfactory but we have not tested enough to give definite views on it. More oil issues from the jets nearest the supply than from those furthest from the supply. Also for a given amount of extra lubrication of the cylinders the oil pressure is lowered about 3 or 4 lbs more than with our standard system of pipes direct to cylinders.

This engine is fitted with the circular oil guards which are more efficient than the ordinary flat guards.

The carburetter has not been levelled up. I have seen Mr Elliott about this and he now has the matter in hand. The high speed jet has been made longer so that the tops of the jets are level.
