Modify bottom yoke bearings as suggested by HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/RH.{R. Hollingworth} Fit rear spring plates S.C.P.12 to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}Les.11/MH.{M. Huckerby}2.9.37. Remove Woodhead rear road springs and fit Firths to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} instructions. Fit damper control unit with larger Governor weights. 18. Steering. Modify nut on inner end of rocker shaft to give additional .150" clearance for engine to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} instructions. 19. Body Brackets. Fit new wheel arch support brackets to FW. 376/7/8/9 in .128" material. Reduce brackets in body if possible where tyres have rubbed. 20. Bonnet and dash brackets. Remove "Kansas" taping and fit Ferodo supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. Fit plugs and taper pins to prevent side hinge pins working out to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. instructions 21. Electrical Equipment. Fit new bearing of correct type at commutator end of dynamo. Fit existing O.S. headlamp and N.S. headlamp ex 32-EX with new glass fitted and rewire to British System. Attend to dimmer switch for instrument lamps. Fit new set of K.L.G. FLB.30X sparking plugs. Suction ignition control as before with adaptor for when not required.
