we shall have more complete information on fading and other tests which we are undertaking, and it seems likely that the action of light on the liquid is the primary cause of the trouble. If this is so, it is almost certain that the introduction of Crooks' glass, which does not permit the ultra-violet rays to penetrate, can be nothing but beneficial, at the expense of a slight loss of transparency, and we would urge you to let us adopt this forthwith.

We will communicate with you further as soon as our results are sufficiently advanced to make a definite recommendation.
