While you are doing the Myth camforms, I should be glad if you would give me a little general information about our camshaft, in easily understood units.

I should like to know the maximum positive acceleration in Ft/sec2 of the inlet valve in:-

1 - The old Bentley II camshaft,
2 - The Merlin camshaft,
3 - The Bentley V camshaft,

at 1000 engine r.p.m.

Also the maximumm deceleration at the same speed, i.e. 1000 revs.

We should like to know the velocity at which the tappet hits the valve on the opening and closing toe on the B.V and on the B.II shaft.
