NEW STEERING WHEEL.
In spite of all the pressure we have been able to bring to bear and the fact that Messrs. Wilmot Breedon are themselves very strongly interested in producing the new type of wheel, the pressure for armaments has prevented them from getting their dies finished, and this item will therefore have to stand over. It certainly cannot be introduced on either Wraith or Bentley, as it obviously demands a reasonable amount of testing, both by specialised bench tests and on a number of cars.

AVAILABILITY OF SPARE PARTS.
This matter has been dealt with by RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} who has made the necessary arrangements to see that Depots are supplied with spares when changes take place.

COST.
RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} will be in a position to discuss costs on 'B' series.

3,200.A.
2,600.C.

PERFORMANCE.

(a). REAR AXLE RATIO.
This matter has been s exhaustively dealt with by tests &c. and the responsible officials were satisfied that the increased ratio was desirable, both from the point of view of absence of fuss and the increase of engine reliability in regard to bearings.
