Steering Roller Failures. Bentley "M" Series & Wraith. With reference to Sr/VA.2/ET.6.4.39 (sent to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} by Sr.) and Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}8/MH.{M. Huckerby}5.4.39, we are arranging to send to you by air mail to-day, rollers (complete) which have been dismantled from the under-mentioned chassis. Please have them tested by the overload and magnetic test and those which pass the above test successfully should then at once be returned to us by air mail, also corresponding supplies of FW.1486 bolts and FW.1487 nuts. Chassis WXA-II Paris Trials Car } Dismantled yesterday " WXA-I5 Dubbonet } and prior to receiving " WXA-72 Gourielli } your Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Dreyfus } after receiving your memo We would mention that we did not carry out the overload test as mentioned in your Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}8/MH.{M. Huckerby}5.4.39, on any of the above mentioned chassis. Will D/BP. please arrange to have the rollers handed to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev.
