Contact Breaker Points on Standard Magnetos.
Reference: EFC5/AD24.10.29.
We have not had a sufficient number of platinum points burning away on magnetos to warrant us making a special point of recording these items, in fact, with the exception of one case this week, namely, 68-WR, we do not remember any previous complaint of this description.
In the case referred to the mileage was 10,000, and we had to replace both platinum points due to burning.
We will make a note of future cases, and if a sufficient number come along we will make a separate heading and report them at the end of this present quarter.
