We send you herewith drawing Lec.1903., shewing the above, including the slider with which it is forged.
We have indicated on this drawing what we think would be the most convenient way of making this part, that is, bending the fork after forging the two in the flat position as shewn on the drawing.
On our drawing Lec.1897., we asked for the slider guide and interlock slide centres to be moved slightly. The drawing herewith shows this movement having taken place.
It also shews the relative position of the taper driving pins to splines on the 1st. and 2nd. speed pinion.
