Bentley Tappet Door Washers.

These are usually made of laminated cork, and the Repair Dept. complain of their shrinking and causing oil leaks.

We have handed some washers to the fitters which are made of Gaskoid and Oakenstrong material. These are to be fitted to engines as opportunity occurs. Will you please note whether or not they are satisfactory.
