Letter from H.M. Hobson, Ltd. regarding the replacement and installation of an instrument dial for Mr. Royce's car.

Messrs.Rolls-Royce,Ltd., Date 24.6.29. Page 2 we have fitted the new replacement dial to a new patch type body, and have forwarded it to you to-day, under our advice-note C.22486 dated 24/6/29. For your information, the instrument which it should replace was sent to you on 13/6/29, under advice-note C.22071. We are also sending this information to your Supplied Department, which we trust will be in order, as in the case of this particular order for Mr.Royce's car, both your departments have communicated with us. We shall be obliged if you can at some future date, return to us the temporary unit, consisting of dial and patch type body, which will be fully credited upon receipt. If you wish for any assistance in this matter, we can easily send our installation representative down to Mr.Royce's car, wherever it may happen to be, early next week, and arrange for the change-over of the instrument, to be sure that the whole of the installation is working satisfactorily after the change has been made.
