With reference to Ve/NP.9/CB.6.8.41, we should be interested to know whether Lieut. Howes gets permission to fit the powered mounting on his boat.

We have heard nothing official from Larkhill, but think the Army's interest in the powered mounting and R.R. gun is so uncertain that, to take it away from them for a little while, might stimulate activities.
