SIR ALEXANDER ROGER TELEGRAMS ALEXANROGA,ESTRAND,LONDON. TELEPHONE, TEMPLE BAR 9262. 1204. NORFOLK HOUSE, VICTORIA EMBANKMENT, LONDON, W.C.2. 3rd January, 1940. John de Looze Esq., Secretary, Rolls Royce Limited, Nightingale Road, DERBY. [STAMP: RECEIVED 4 JAN 1940] Dear Sir, I purchased twelve years ago a Rolls Royce car which is still taxed on a 44 h.p. basis. It occurs to me that the horse power rating of twelve years ago may not be the same as the present horse power rating and in the interests of economy and taxation I wondered whether it is worth while applying for a reduction of Licence tax on this account. I shall be glad if you will give me some advice on the subject. Yours faithfully, Alex Roger 103 / RAG U.S.A. | ||
