Dear Mr. Robotham,

Thank you for your letter of 11th March.

I agree with you that it is impossible to give a figure of merit to ADCOIDS but what we do want to get is the blessing of Rolls Royce, and in my opinion, ADCOIDS are more valuable to the satis-factory lubrication of an engine than any property in any oil that I know of. Although we cannot get the exact figures of merit, these tablets are in-sinuating themselves into the favour of the public in an extraordinary way - indeed, I am told that now garages have practically no sale for the so-called "upper cylinder lubricants."

We have an enormous number of testimonials and their points of appreciation are remarkable, varying from ease of starting to no pinking, from quietness to power, from saving of petrol to improved function-ing of valves, and so on.

There is no doubt that all this is due to the in-troduction of an extraordinary lubricant in small quantities above the piston.

Excuse this effusion - I have such a high opinion of my child.

I presume you will have no objection to my asking Mr. Sidgreaves for his blessing when I next see him, but maybe before then I shall have the pleasure of meeting you, as I am now fit to drive my car again.

Yours sincerely,

A. {Mr Adams} Duckham
