Contd. -2- EFC/T19.2.27. would have to run a 10,000 mile test. We take it, therefore, at least that you will advise Messrs. North that we suggest two of the machines in question should have our standard gears - bakelite pinion and aluminium wheel - and the third might reasonably be a duplicate of the present machine and have all-bakelite gears. This really resolves the matter into two stages to be gone through before the advent of the non-sleeve machine, but we think it will be agreed that it is necessary. EFC. | ||
