Dear Sirs,

Referring to the writer's conversation with Mr.Kent this morning, will you please advise Mr.Royce, as soon as possible, of the prices for the following:-

(1) Price of Twin Pump complete, in-corporating Details Nos. 2, 3, 4, 5, Part 1 of Detail 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, & 14, as in Mr.Elliott's memo to you, reference E.4/HP. of the 7th inst.

(2) Price for jig required for the various operations to the casting.

The patterns for the castings are being forwarded to you within the next few days.

As the spherical union E.81339 is a standard of ours, we will supply these to you. We will also supply the 2.BA bolts for you to fit during erection, which clamp the pumps to the dashboard.

With regard to the hexagons on the external plugs. The question was raised as to whether an enlargement of the hexagon in the base of the casting would protrude below the base face. As we have not had trouble in tightening down the present plugs, we suggest that the same side plug is used for the first few pumps you supply and that the alum. washers be incorporated. This will obviate any further complications for the time being.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED,
