R.R. 235A (500 T) (S.D. 408. 26-4-17.) Bm. 2/156/13. ORIGINAL To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to CJ. c. to BJ. c. to PN.{Mr Northey} c. to C. R2/M22.8.22. RE. No.4. GOSHAWK 11. X788 JL-14 X4091 The speed at Brooklands was most interesting, and we ought to give Sales a complete record of performances with and without cutout and with different bodies and gearing ratios of BA, both of speed and accelerations, and brake action. I was very pleased to hear you found the plugs defective and causing pre-ignitions; one supposes the mica must have become fuzzy. Can you send me 8 of what you find reliable (for No.6. Goshawk). My little pump engine is an excellent test for overheating plugs. It will only do it's best with an old 4 pointer Bosch which we easily clean if it gets sooty.
