ORIGINAL. To Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} C. to BJ. C. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} C. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ✓ C. to sp.{Mr Spinney} R2/M21.8.22. X1775 I have noticed on many occasions that the cotton waste which has come here is of an abominable quality. I strongly recommend the Works to use an open/type of rag wiper, and if we buy any cotton waste it should be of good quality, and free from unspun cotton. I am sure poor quality of waste only results in it being thrown away more frequently, as well as slow and poor work. Kindly go into this matter with Mr. Wormald.
