I have noticed on many occasions that the cotton waste which has come here is of an abominable quality.

I strongly recommend the Works to use an open/type of rag wiper, and if we buy any cotton waste it should be of good quality, and free from unspun cotton.

I am sure poor quality of waste only results in it being thrown away more frequently, as well as slow and poor work.

Kindly go into this matter with Mr. Wormald.

R.{Sir Henry Royce}
