When this box is used with the 20/25 engine a reduction of the travel of the gear lever into 1st speed can be made by using the meshing of the 1st speed pinion relating to the wheel as shewn by N. Sch. 3788 with which the pinion travel is .925" instead of 1.000" on CL.687.
Will you kindly make the necessary alterations to the selector shaft, gate and 1st speed pinion. The pinion will need a .075" extension in order to retain the .050" clearance between it and the split collar.
