Bonnets.
129-CN.{Mr Chamberain} London Trials 40/50 H.P.

It becomes necessary to send this car in to H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} for attention to the bonnet-locks and fastenings. This bonnet has always tended to move a lot, and the lock has gradually worked its way through the soft aluminium edge which normally should hold the lock in position, and in consequence the movement is worse than ever. Both sides are the same.

I am asking H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} to fit a small piece of angle-iron neatly for about 4" on each side where the locks locate.

Is this a trouble which is well known, or of frequent occurrence, because it would appear that the aluminium sheet ledge referred to is not of suitable material to withstand the constant hammering of a somewhat loose bonnet, and a modification on this point would appear to be desirable.
