Apparently you have not issued a Standardization Sheet for the modified pivots for the 20 HP. chassis, under which two plain bearings are used with a C.H.N.S. pin case hardened on its bearing surfaces. We are under the impression that the axle in question has been run, but as to whether it has completed its 10,000 miles or not we are not sure. We cannot bring it in in a hurry at the moment, as we are carrying on with the standard type axle modified by the addition of a case hardened bush, for "K" Series, but would like to raise the issue so that if and when it is necessary to order new material, we shall be in a position to adopt the modified pivot shown on G.53041, corresponding with N.Schemes 2058 and 2190.
