R.R. 325A (100 T) (S H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 79S. 10-12-30) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2047 ORIGINAL. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to CJ. c. to Nor c. to By c. to Ep.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} RECEIVED X4226 GOSHAWK CARBURETTER. In reply to your memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG3.7.22., it is intended that the glass window in the float chamber should be adopted as standard. We think that although there is no means of adjusting the level in the float chamber other than by heating the sweated collar on the needle and moving it endways that it will be very useful to be able to instantly check by looking through the window that the level of petrol is correct in the float chamber. It is not anticipated that the small glass window will give trouble due to leakage or breakage of the glass. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
