X.3950 - Rear Springs to print F.7973 X.2628.

Following a conversation which I had with By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} about the 2nd. inst. I wrote Jonas Woodhead & Sons Ltd., pointing out that print F.7973 does not show precisely the old form of parabolic sheared to the spring leaves, adding that we would prefer them to give us exactly the pre-war form, rather than that shown on our print F.7973, especially as this would render unnecessary the preparation of new tools.

We have now received a reply from Woodheads expressing satisfaction at our decision and adding that it will be unnecessary to make new tools.

Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}
