TAPPET NOISE ON PHANTOM.

The only way to reduce the tappet noise is to produce the tappets to the clearance limits shown on the drawing.

We attach a report from Mr. Coverley which shows that the second set of tappets you have sent us for the chassis which has had the complaint of noisy tappets, are not to the drawing.
