easily and on the gears it was quiet definitely left by the Bentley. During the afternoon the same tests were carried out against the latest 12 cyl Lincoln which put up no fight at all either on the gears or on top gear though this car only weighs 30 cwt 3 qrs and is alleged to develop 115. H.P. We tried the Bentley over 2 Kls from a standing start. The road was wet and a heavy side wind. The time being 1m 3 sec. Over the same stretch the Bugatti did 1m 4 sec and the Delhaye did 1m 5 sec, both cars being run under good conditions. We are hoping to get a 5 litre Mercedes, the Delhaye and a Hotchkiss tomorrow.
