Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} has received a cable from America that America do not wish to have the special short type of SS.{S. Smith} They wish to have their cars built with standard wheelbase that we are using over here.

ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} will have modified the order placed for four pairs of side members from the short type to the long type. These will have to be hand worked where necessary as early delivery is just as necessary as before.

The Drawing Office will stop work on any of the special parts that were demanded for the shorter wheelbase.
