Phantom III Valve Rockers. In regard to the wear that is taking place on the tappet push rods at the top and bottom ball surfaces, will you kindly note that "E" recommends that the .0156 diameter hole should be reinstated in the annulus of the rocker bush. This will ensure a better oil supply with a minimum amount of modification. To cure top overoiling the hole in the valve end of the rocker should be plugged up. At some future time we can try this hole left undrilled to save expense, but we shall have to prove that the additional weight of the rocker will not affect the valve operation. E/JNR.{Charles L.
