FRONT WHEEL BRAKES.
Conduit Street
We have tried Mr. Royce's scheme on the road.
The car with this control behaves in very much the same way as with Rg{Mr Rowledge}'s scheme, the only difference being that the parallel control seems rather less rigid. Also on full lock, when the brakes are applied and the wheels are just on the point of skidding, the steering takes charge, but not violently.
As the self-centering of the steering was not pronounced, we are increasing the 1/8" pivot lean as shown on the drawing to 3/8" to see if we can eliminate the above steering fault.
We are only inflicting you with this as we thought possibly Mr. Royce might want to know something in a hurry.
