(2) nominally carry the radiator higher and absorb all the slacks in the suspension and inaccuracies in castings etc, at the same time, the shops promised to watch the clearance between the bottom of the top of the radiator and the starting handle and report to us. Would you kindly let me have a few figures taken from shop cars for this dimension? On the new Northcliffe and Williamson chassis there is no possibility of this trouble occurring owing to the difference in design. The radiator is carried on pedestals on two front pressed cross members. The starting handle passes through a tube which forms a cantilever to suspend the front end of the unit.
