I thank you for your sheets on the Heat Treatment of the Front Pivots.

I think we had better abandon the Impact Test with the natched bar. This, I understand, is an Avery Test, which we concluded would not give reliable results.

I shall be glad if you can find someone who will do the Arnold Test for us, or push on with our own machine of Arnold design - urgent.
